Etsy Featured Artist - A Rose By Name

Anna, from Stow, Ohio, says she and her daughters all started beading years ago, "My daughters and I first tried beading many years ago. Over the years, the beads have gotten smaller and the designs more intricate. Although my girls no longer bead, they enjoy wearing the pieces that I have created. "
Anna's etsy shop, A Rose By Name, is filled with wonderful beaded items, some very intricately woven with seed beads, like this collar, below.

"Royal Copper Lace" is a beautifully crafted beadwoven piece with heirloom quality. I like what Anna says about beadwoven pieces, "Did you know that well-made beadwoven pieces can be very durable as evidenced by highly-valued vintage beadwork available in the antiques market? Given the same care you take with your fine jewelry, bead woven pieces can last a lifetime!" I'd also like to add, that with the newer threading material than that in vintage pieces, these pieces will last quite a few lifetimes!

"A Mermaids Tale - Cuff Bracelet" is done in peyote stitch with the finest seed beads, in beautiful shades of green/blue. The feel of a cuff done in peyote stitch is something you just have to experience for yourself. Smooth, silky, and cool, the touch of it on your wrist is pure pleasure.

"Mardi Gras Tealight Holder", done in a geometric pattern of bright colors, will absolutely shine with a candle glowing within.

Come view (and purchase! :)) some very lovely items in Anna's etsy shop.
