Etsy Featured Artist - cigarboxbeads

Marilyn says this about her bead "habit", "I became a non-stop beadweaver when I purchased 3 vintage cigarboxes full of beads at a flea market---about 20 years ago. I'm still using those beads, plus a 'few' more I can not help but purchase!" And so the name of her shop. By the way, take her words as a warning to those who are not yet hooked on beads, but have been toying with the idea, beads can become very addicting!
Most of what you find in cigarboxbeads is beadweaving, taking tiny seedbeads and sewing them together in various beadweaving stitches. I think she does a great job of putting them together and creating artistic pieces.

Take this piece, "Red Jasper and turquoise blue Amulet Bag", with it's beautiful combination of colors and pretty pattern, just gorgeous!
This choker, "Scarlett sez Fiddle Dee Dee Choker" would make a lovely gift for your Valentine, or yourself. This was entered in the Etsy BeadWeavers January contest, "Red".
"Rapunzel Spiral Bracelet" is flashy with its gold and crystal. A piece fit for royalty.
