Okay, on to the new shop, Felicity's Boutique. This shop was born of a need to make items for her own daughter that were either hard to find, or just not up to par. Her "Wangly Legs" leg warmers, for example, were made to find a leg warmer that was cute, but without uncomfortable seams. Not able to find what she was looking for, she decided to make her own, and now shares them with the world! She also sells handmade hair bows, mittens, toddler jewelry and MORE! This store has just taken off! Go see why today, especially if you have any small girls to shop for. "CoZY BabY CaRRieR " is a great way to carry Baby while shopping or cleaning house. Etsy Featured Artist - Signature Sterling

Sue, of Signature Sterling etsy shop, is an avid beader of only 2 1/2 years. Her jewelry is so well-made and thought out, that you would think she's been doing this for decades. She really has a natural eye for putting pieces together. She uses quality materials and findings, such as Swarovski crystal, semi-precious gemstones, pearls, artisan lampwork beads, and, of course, sterling silver to make these quality pieces. Some of her pieces are meant to be custom, and you choose the components for the piece.

"Yellow Mother To Be Sticky Note Pad" is so cute, and only one of several designs available. I HAD to post this one, because I just LOVED being pregnant (well, mostly) and being a mom.

Etsy Featured Artist - Thumbelina Creations

Jonquil opens her bio with this: "Jonquil Thiessen is a stay-at-home mom of three boys who loves to be creative in many different ways. She loves to sing, knit, crochet, draw, scrapbook, write music, and make jewelry. She would feel lost if she wasn't able to be creative." Wow! Much kudos for her for, 1. staying home to raise her boys, 2. being involved in so many creative outlets. Support our (world's) stay-at-home moms! "Copper Necklace" is a copper disc with an "amber swirl drop" and wireworked "dangly", all hanging from a brown leather cord. I just love hammered copper, and this piece is no exception! To me, it is reminiscient of the new(?) style called steampunk. Tribal and earthy, with a bit of "machinery". The copper disc reminding me of a washer perhaps.
"Amethyst Ring size 7.5" is this particular ring, but Jonquil states, "I am able to make this ring in different colors and sizes. If you would like a different ring, just convo me." Let your imagination guide you.
"Copper Flower Earrings" are wireworked "flowers" with a crystal-colored bead added for sparkle.

Etsy Featured Artist - Ulixis

Amanda is 21 (as of her bio posting on etsy), and from Northern Ontario. She is a a fifth year (undergrad) Honours Biology and Pharmacology co-op student at McMaster University. She posted this in her shop announcement: "My thesis defence is this Sunday at 1:45. I have 20 min to present and 25 min to answer question. Who - me, nervous???" Let's hope she does really well.
Amanda has a mix of paper items - as shown below - and jewelry items. She does custom notebooks and "Accordion Memory Books", like the one below. You can find examples of both custom notebooks and memory books in her "items sold" link.
"Green Gardens ENVELOPE ACCORDION NOTEBOOK / MEMORY BOOK" is an example of her pretty memory books.
"Earth Elements BUTTON BRACELET" , pieced together out of buttons, including a vintage metal one in the center, is pretty and unique. The jumprings are handmade and will be soldered closed when she knows the size that the buyer wants.
"Tip-Toe Through The Tulips CHAIN and BEADED BRACELET" is a full and lush bracelet made of chain and beads. I just had to post this because of its name, taken from an old Tiny Tim song (see him performing it here on youtube), although I DO think the bracelet is very pretty with its organic look of a garden.

Etsy Featured Artist - purrfectlydevine

This jewelry artist opened her shop on etsy because she was getting so much interest in her own jewelry from her co-workers. I can see why the interest! She fashions some really beautiful pieces. Below are a few that stood out to me. Her designs vary greatly, though, so if these aren't your style take a look in her shop anyway. You'll probably see more than one thing in her shop you will want.
Besides making this very nice jewelry, she is a full-time special education teacher, and part-time deli worker. My hat's off to her for being a teacher (applaud here), AND the energy she must have to do all she does.

"6 Strand Illusion Necklace" is fashioned from Fluorite chips and tiny glass seed pearls on satin silver wire. This would be suitable to wear with dress or jeans. Very versatile AND very pretty.
"Moonstone, Onyx, and Silver Bracelet moonlight theme" is a lovely bracelet with a very modern look. Round Moonstone beads, onyx rondelles and silver tube beads make up its 7 7/8" length.
"Jadite Earrings" are so pretty with their jadeite beads and gold-plated findings.
